What holds us back in our “Personal Life” is what holds back the communications as well.

We can choose to look at life as an ever-evolving experience that includes challenges and opportunities to move forward on our personal and spiritual path. Or we can choose to resist change, feeling the need to stay the same while retaining the illusion of control over our world, other people and circumstances.

Last week I had the wonderful experience of butting heads with my old friends fear, desperation and expectations. I was given an opportunity to add to my income with no outlay of expenses and training thrown in to boot! Score!! (This is the point when you say” What sounds to good to be true”). Well, at this part of the story I will clue you in to the fact that I stopped listening, I stopped checking for the talk to match the walk, while my expectations soared. I expected this deal to go my way. Never once did I check my “gut” feelings about the situation. If I had paying attention I would have known I was heading down the familiar path to disappointment.

What does this have to do with animal communication you ask? Remember those tips: Judgments, opinions, expectations, and beliefs: Your judgments, opinions, expectations and beliefs can interfere with the message you receive. When we filter the communication threw our “stuff”, often we get just a small portion of the real message or a message based on our beliefs.

I got a look at what happens when I am into Expectations. I will go on to say that I got a wonderful Gift, I got a chance to work on my negative programs. How being with my feelings, doing some work on the situation (mediation, The One Command and working with my mentor). I then got a change to create a new set of behaviors. My learned program of “Failure” “For get it” and “Start Over” never got a chance to run. I saw my part in the situation and moved on.

To sum it up, I am my greatest teacher.

Animal Communication 101

This tip is a simple exercise that will help to establish a foundation for telepathic
communication with animals and is taken from Penelope Smith’s first book Animal Talk.
Penelope Smith is the one that introduced the world to the spiritual nature of the animals. She opened my eyes and my heart to the unique and wonderful gifts and qualities that reside in our animal friends.

How to explore the depth of your relationship with your animal companion.

First choose a quiet time and place. Turn off the TV and the phone and just sit with your
animal companion. Simply observe your friend, watch as it chooses what it wants to do.
Please take time to notice specific details about your animal: Size, color, shape and its physical characteristics. The next portion of the lesson is to notice other details you might not have taken the time to see before. What is the texture of its hair or feathers, what expression is on its face as it experiences different feelings? Send your friend love and see how it reacts. This exercise is about becoming aware of your animal companion as its own unique being. As you tune into your friend you will begin to feel, see or hear the spiritual essence that resides in your animal friend. As you acknowledge the true nature of the animal being the quality of your communication will flow to new depths.

Please remember just be open and receptive to whatever comes to you. Acknowledge
what you receive. The more you do this the more you will receive. Be prepared to receive
messages of love, healing and spiritual guidance, you will be amazed! I know I always am!
Keep practicing.

Live with Purpose

My mother sent me an article from Parade Magazine written by Cesar Millan.
This one page jewel on “What Your Pet Can Teach You “ is the same type of information I receive from your beloved animals. Each one of our animal companions has a purpose, as do we. We all need to “work”, to contribute
to the world around us. What happens when you have no purpose, are bored or
are overlooked ?

Animals that have lost or never had a purpose can develop issues from anxiety
to aggression. Our friends can also decide to teach us a lesson and wander off.
Just like small children our animal friends can leave the yard to teach us a lesson.
Unfortunately they are unable to tell the well-meaning person that has found them they wish to return to their people and where they live.

Penelope you ask, just what is your point?? Your animals look to you to provide emotion and intellectual stimulation as well as physical exercise. Imagine what your life would be like just hanging out in the yard waiting for someone to notice you?
What if your best friend no longer acknowledged you when you are in the same room?

It is really simple to give your friend a job. My kitty Jessie loves to be told he’s doing a great job! His job is “Grounding”, he is in charge of keeping Mom energetically on the ground. He does his best work on me while I sleep. His “Buddha physic “ makes him a natural as well as a living paperweight. Streaker the dog is the Clam orderly type; he keeps “The schedule” for the home. Phoenix the kitten, is “The Master of High jinx”, he keeps me laughing and playing! You of course are free to give whatever title to your “Kids” that suits their personality. Remember “Killer” is usually reserved for large guard dogs and barn cats. Dachshunds and Chihuahuas can have emotion issues when referred to as “Killers” or Defenders of The Home. Master of Love or Official Greeter, Champion Snugger etc. are great roles for dogs of any size or any animal. Give the title of the quality you want elevated.

This past week I have been in contact with other communicators that have been inundated with lost animal cases. Please notice your critters and show them extra affection and attention. Giving more love adds to the quality of life of every being on the planet.
